City Curfew

Keeping All Citizens Safe
For the safety of all citizens and visitors of every age, the city enforces a mandatory curfew for minors (under the age of 18), following these general guidelines:

  • Up to and including age 15: 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • Age 16 to and including age 17: 1 to 5 a.m.

In general terms, the law states that minors are not permitted—unless accompanied by a parent or guardian—to loiter or hang out (during the stated times) in public places, ranging from restaurants and malls, to residential streets and public parks. Special conditions/circumstances do apply.
