Social Services

The Outreach Coordinator offers an array of services and referrals to all residents of the community no matter what type of difficulty they are experiencing.  According to the most recent estimates provided by the U.S. Census Bureau., 5.4% of Westlake residents, 1,744 people, live in poverty.

All social service inquiries are completely confidential.  In addition, various types of assistance are available to older adults and low-income residents who meet program qualifications.  This assistance includes transportation services, a food pantry, prescription drug program and referrals for other types of assistance.

The Outreach Coordinator has a section in our monthly Pathways Newsletter that includes updates about social services, including seasonal or special programs. They are not limited to seniors.
