The inaugural session of the Community Policing Academy commenced with an atmosphere of camaraderie and purpose. Eager participants gathered to introduce themselves, setting the stage for a journey of collaboration and understanding. The room was filled with anticipation as Mayor Clough, a beacon of civic leadership, warmly addressed the attendees, emphasizing the significance of unity between law enforcement and the community. Police Chief Kevin Beilozer followed suit, sharing his commitment to fostering transparency and trust through proactive engagement. As introductions unfolded, a sense of shared responsibility and enthusiasm permeated the room, laying the foundation for a transformative learning experience that would bridge the gap between the police force and the community they serve.
