Current Construction Projects
When passing any vehicle with flashing lights on the side of a road, Ohio’s Move Over Law requires motorists to cautiously shift over one lane — or slow down if changing lanes is not possible. The law's purpose is to protect everyone who works on and travels our roads in the State of Ohio. Browse ODOT Move Over page to learn more.
If you experience an incident in a construction zone, fill out and return this form to our office, via email or hard-copy. If you have any quotes for the repairs or pictures of the damage, please include those as well. After we receive these items we will then forward your information to the City’s Contractor for review of the claim. The contractor or their insurance company will reach out to you directly. If they do not reach out to you in a timely manner or you feel as though you need additional information or assistance please reach out to us at 440-617-4145.
