The Communications Department utilizes a variety of tools to effectively delivery information to residents and businesses throughout the City of Westlake. These communications tools enable the city to keep residents well-informed in real-time of news and events happening near them, and about the many programs and services available to residents.

The Mayor's Newsletter is a bimonthly publication that is mailed to the residents and is available online.
About This Channel
The City of Westlake's Community Access Channel provides residents news and alerts about public meetings, city events, programs and services, emergency information, weather and more. This channel also is a platform for rebroadcasts of public meetings, event recordings and feature content showcasing the efforts of city employees and residents to make a positive difference in the community.
To ensure this channel reaches many residents as possible, the city has made it available via OTT streaming devices (Roku, FireTV and AppleTV) and a web-based platform (above) in addition to the three local cable providers.

Video On Demand (VOD)
Using either the web-based streaming platform or a streaming device, residents can access pre-recorded content on-demand. Much of this content has been organized into playlists for easy reference.
